Treasurer: Sandra Elliot
I have been a member of the MDOHG for five years and I became Treasurer of the Group in January 2007. I have had a long and varied career in nursing, including holding senior positions in both the hospital and community sectors.
I have been lucky enough to of worked in many interesting occupational health posts, including Rolls Royce Motors, Aon Insurance and the NHS. As a natural progression to my career I started my own OH company almost three years ago. It has been one of the most challenging, but interesting aspects of my career to date.
Belonging to MDOHG is very important to me as it provides me with a forum for a variety activities, such as exchanging information, networking, social events and updating my practice with fellow OH professionals. However, most importantly to me, is that this is done in a supportive, non judgmental and confidential way.
I look forward to continuing to grow professionally with the support of the MDOHG.
