Directions to the Hawth Theatre
The Hawth is minutes away from the M23 motorway, which links to the M25. It is well signposted on all major routes into Crawley. (map)

Road from North (M25)
Join the M23 Southbound at Junction 7/8
On the M23 travel Southbound and continue past Gatwick Airport
Take Junction 10 exit (to Crawley)
Follow dual carriageway into Crawley (1 mile) to large roundabout with flyover
Take first exit left (slip road) signposted to Three Bridges
Passing Tesco on left proceed straight across roundabout (1/4 mile) along Hazlewick Ave to Three
Bridges
Approaching traffic lights (1/4 mile) take centre lane (Blockbuster store on left) Turn right at these
lights to Crawley
Continue along A264 through two more sets of traffic lights until you come a large square roundabout, which contains Bennigan’s American Restaurant, Holiday Inn Express and Hawth Park Inn
Join roundabout in left hand lane and follow around taking second exit over a railway bridge
Turn right at the next roundabout for the Hawth.

 

Road from East
Approaching Crawley along the A264, take the second exit at the Copthorne Hotel roundabout signposted to the M23
At Junction 10 (M23) take the second exit (signposted Crawley) and continue along dual carriageway into Crawley
Then follow instructions already given above from North.


Road from South (M23 Junction 11) or from Horsham (A264)
Take A23 turning which takes you down hill to the outskirts of Crawley
At first roundabout (with Broadfield Stadium football ground on the left) turn right onto Southgate Avenue (last exit)
Go straight over a few mini roundabouts (passing school on right) until you come to a set of traffic lights
Turn right onto Hawth Avenue
Follow road (bending around to the left) to the next roundabout (1/2 mile)
Turn left for the Hawth.

 

Rail
Three Bridges and Crawley stations are both a 15 minute walk away. There are taxi ranks outside. There are frequent services to Three Bridges from Victoria (40 to 50 minutes) and Brighton. The Gatwick Express service also runs from Victoria to Gatwick Airport which is 4 miles from the Hawth. Gatwick also offers direct rail connections to Kensington Olympia, Watford, Milton Keynes, Stoke, Macclesfield, Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly.Then follow instructions already given above from North.

Taxi and car hire services are available at Gatwick Airport (4 miles from the Hawth).
